There are three rooms dedicated and furnished for consultation, at the end of an adjustment process the volumes will be displayed and can be consulted by appointment.

The section of the museum dedicated to witchcraft occupies an increasingly prominent part, do to the particularity and charm of the question, connected to a series of events that took place in the Trieste podesta office in the years 1587-1589, fueled by a whole series of episodes and also by myths and legends. Especially after the conferences organized by the Municipality, it was necessary to find books, publications and texts on witchcraft, demonology and magic in general.

Thanks to some donations, this very particular library was started, later enlarged and enriched thanks to the generosity of some scholars. Some purchases, exchanges, auctions, etc. have been made, and currently the book endowment, with some precious ancient texts that are difficult to find, has reached several hundred units. Anyone who has texts relating to the subject is invited to collaborate, so that all those interested, including students, can take advantage of this service.
